The Ziip Halo can handle a wide range of electric current levels, from 900 nanoamps to 500 microamps. This is a lot more than what is usually reported for the Nuface, and the maximum current is also higher. The Ziip Halo is a single small device, but the NuFace has different heads that you can switch out depending on the area you want to work on.
What do you do with the Ziip Halo?
After charging the device, wash your face to get rid of all makeup and skin care products. Any leftover products on the skin can stop it from working. I like Clarins Gentle Renewing Cleansing Mousse because it cleans my pores without drying out my skin. When you touch both metal globes, you’ll feel the microcurrent, which feels like little sparks bouncing off your skin. It doesn’t hurt at all, and it’s a good sign that the device is working. Your eye may twitch from time to time. I felt most of the sensations when I shaped my cheekbones.
