How I Conducted Testing
I now have more than a year to test the upgraded LED mask since it was introduced at the end of September 2024. I tested the device in conjunction with my regular skincare regimen of cleansing, applying SPF, using serums, and using a prescription tretinoin treatment at night. I used it two or three times a week on average (sometimes more, other weeks less)
I’ve always had some hormonal acne but over the course of the eight weeks, I saw fewer breakouts around my jawline and chin. Since I naturally have larger pores and some long-standing acne scarring, I couldn’t say that I saw a significant change in the texture of my skin at this point, but I did think my skin had a more radiant appearance.
I can’t attest to its efficacy on firming and deep lines because I was only thirty at the time, but I did believe that the fine lines surrounding my eyes had softened.

After testing it for five months I can confidently state that it is now my favourite LED mask. Even though I only used it once or twice a week, I felt like I was still benefiting from it. Since I started using it, my skin has behaved better overall, with fewer breakouts less redness, and a more radiant even-toned appearance. I made a commitment to increase my use to nearly every day in order to keep my complexion looking as clear as possible because, at this five-month mark, spring sunshine was starting to appear alongside my sun-induced pigmentation issues.
After a Year
And now for my one-year update now. I’ve been increasing the frequency of my treatments to three or four times per week, and more recently, I’ve been wearing the mask nearly every day, and I think this is helping me. My skin shows how consistent I am. My skin’s texture has changed the most, in my opinion. Because it’s smoother, it reflects more light and appears more radiant than before. I think this is a fantastic LED mask, and I can now envision myself using it continuously for the foreseeable future ahead. I’ve tried a lot of LED masks, from those at the lower end of the price range to those that cost more than £1000. I think the quality of the technology is commensurate with the cost. I’ve been testing it for more than a year, and my skin has changed significantly.
Even though the mask doesn’t have a blue light setting like other LED masks, I’ve noticed that my skin looks clearer, is less irritated, and my breakouts have significantly decreased since using it. I’ve noticed that my skin doesn’t have the same amount of glow and bounce since I stopped using it so frequently. Consistency is crucial. You will undoubtedly see results if you use it on a daily basis regularly.
