Choosing the right shade can also change the look. Cooler colours like icy rose or pale pink are more in line with the Y2K style.
While warmer colours like peach pearl golden nude, or rose-gold shimmer feel more modern and look good on everyone.
For a more subtle look use a sheer pearlescent gloss or a tinted balm on your bare lips.
Start with a neutral lip liner and then add a satin lipstick that is close to the colour of your lips.
This will give your lips more depth. To get the most light-catching effect, finish with a pearly gloss that you tap lightly in the middle of your lips.
