Costa Careyes which means “Turtle Coast,” is a small town in Mexico that I traveled to for more than 10 hours a few months ago. You might be wondering why I’m telling you this right now. Testing the Products
I honestly didn’t know much about the products before the three-day trip. I knew that some famous people liked the brand, and I had heard good things about the Eyelash Growth Serum from other beauty bloggers, but I didn’t know much about Sweed. What better way to test the Cloud Mascara than on a couple of 90-degree beach days in Mexico? That would really put its powers to the test!

Mascara Performance
The wand’s accuracy was my first impression. It separates my lashes very well, which is one of the things I look for when judging a formula. I really hate clumps and chunks. As you can see below, it also adds a lot of length and volume with just a few swipes, which makes it perfect for my 10-minute makeup routine before work every day. As a beauty editor, I go to a lot of events, from early morning meetings to late-night dinners (and everything in between), and the Cloud Mascara lasts all day without flaking.
For Cosmopolitan
For Cosmopolitan Jasmine Hyman I really like that it comes in both brown and black shades because I have lighter eyes and don’t like wearing super-dark mascara every day. The ingredient list is clean and safe for sensitive eyes. It also has panthenol to help nourish the lashes. And it makes me look much more awake in just a few seconds because it lifts my face, which I didn’t know was so dramatic until I saw my before and after photos.
Long Term Experience
Months later the mascara is still one of my favorite things in my messy makeup collection. I knew it would hold up in my everyday life because it could handle heat and humidity on a boat ride and hot days at the beach in Mexico. The sea turtle release was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Thanks to Sweed, we let about 200 baby turtles go into the ocean.
Final Thoughts
If Sabrina Carpenter can strut and dance around the stage for three hours with the Cloud Mascara on, then it’s good enough for me and clearly a long lasting mascara choice.
