When the seasons change, I put my heavier gourmands and dramatic winter scents at the back of my shelf, just like you would put away your winter clothes. I know I’ll miss some smells, but this is something I always look forward to at the start of a new season.

My gourmands are one thing that stays the same as I switch my perfumes from winter to spring. I’m a foodie girl through and through, so my rich, boozy winter gourmands give way to lighter, more delicate, and creamy versions that make me think of spring and summer. Right now, I’m going for lively tea scents, bright mango notes, and lactonic gourmands. These are some of the scents that people like the most. Below are nine perfumes that I’m going to buy this spring, starting at $15.
Royal Milk Eau de Parfum by Scents UnEarth’d
Scents UnEarth’d Perfume Target: $41 If you like creamy, milky scents, then Royal Milk is my new favorite. It has a warm, inviting, milky scent with hints of almond milk, blue chamomile, and vanilla honey. I think of it as fuzzy warm blankets and shades of cream. It isn’t too sweet; instead, it feels soft and cozy on the skin and clothes for hours and hours.
Etleé Vanilla and Amber Perfume
Vanilla and Amber Eau de Parfum by ETLEÉ $19 on Amazon I call this type of perfume “lotion scents” because they smell smooth, creamy, and enveloping, like putting on lotion after a hot shower. Etleé’s Vanilla and Amber has notes of vanilla, amber, sandalwood, coconut, and heliotrope. It smells like Jergens lotion, which is soft and creamy. It’s milky and a little sweet, but not too sweet.
Tone by AMP Coconut Roll-On Fragrance Oil
TONE by AMP Roll-On Fragrance Oil: $15 at Target Tone is a new body care brand at Target, and all of its scents smell unique, hard to find, and definitely not like they cost $15. I don’t like coconut, so I didn’t smell this thinking it would be my favorite, but it really blew me away. It has notes of pear, jasmine, coffee, and sandalwood in addition to the coconut, which makes it very unique and classy. It has a sensual, inviting quality that is not tied to any one gender.
Coconut milk in Miu Miu Fleur de Lait Eau de Parfum
Eau de Parfum by Miu Miu Fleur de Lait Sephora says this costs $108. Mango is one of the hottest scents for spring and summer, right after strawberry. It’s bright, sweet, and tropical, but not too much. What more could you want? Fleur de Lait by Miu Miu is a creamy, subtle gourmand that smells like coconut milk, osmanthus, and mango. The notes make it sound too sweet, but it’s the perfect mix of rich, grounding, and expensive-smelling.
Brio Eau de Parfum by Belnu Bergamot
Brio Belnu Bergamot Thanks to Belnu, you can get it for $175 at Belnu.com. Bergamot has a bright, happy citrus flavor that is similar to limes and lemons. It’s spicy, used a lot in men’s and women’s scents, and absolutely beautiful. This spicy, uplifting blend from Bergamot Brio combines bergamot with lavender, pink pepper, and vetiver. It feels energetic and indulgent for spring. When I mix it with Scents UnEarth’d Royal Milk Eau de Parfum, I get the most beautiful creamy, citrusy scent that makes me feel both relaxed and powerful.
Eau de Parfum from House of Brandt London Fog
Brandt House London Fog House of Brandt gets credit for this. It costs $245 at Luckyscent.com. The smell of London Fog is like the first day of spring after a long, hard winter. It has a green, lush, and bubbly smell, with hints of tea, milk, and honey in the dry down. You will love this if you like fresh, citrusy smells. The tea note is so subtle that it gives it a high-end finish. I promise you haven’t smelled anything like it before.
